In response to The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Transition.
These sunset photos were taken on Cable Beach in Broome, northwest Western Australia. It’s one of my favourite beaches and has a tidal difference of up to 11 metres. The sand is hard and we’ve ridden our bikes and gone on camel rides there. There’s even a full (42.2 kilometre) marathon that’s run on the beach. Beautiful Broome, which is steeped in the rich history of pearling in Australia, is still the pearling capital of Australia and home of the beautiful and highly sought after Australian South Sea Pearl. Needless to say, it’s one of my favourite destinations in Western Australia.
It’s on my bucket list to travel to one day.

I’m sure you’ll like it. It has a lot to offer and the colour of the water is out of this world.
